Hull Kingston Rovers are delighted to announce that Hirebase the Plant, Tool and Equipment hire company will become the official club sponsor in 2012.

Hirebase, one of the largest hire company’s, will feature on the front of the club’s home and away shirts as well as having prominent signage at Craven Park Stadium.

Hirebase has 76 branches throughout the United Kingdom providing tools and equipment to the construction industry.

Hirebase are the plant and small tool specialist of Buildbase and collectively are part of the wider Grafton Group PLC, a company operating in the Builders Merchants, DIY Retailing and Mortar Manufacturing markets in Britain and Ireland, where they are one of the largest builders and plumbers merchants in the country.

All are hugely respected names within the industry and in 2010 Hirebase was awarded a highly commended award in the Tool Company and Plant Hire Company of the Year category at the annual Hire Awards of Excellence and were highly commended in the 2011 Hire Industry Website of the Year category.

Hirebase trade across the UK with local branches in York, Scunthorpe and Grimsby with Director Adrian Watts saying the opportunity to partner Hull Kingston Rovers was a fantastic one for the company.

Hirebase Director Adrian Watts was born in East Hull and being a lifelong Rovers fan said “When this opportunity came along we grabbed it with both hands. Our company colours are of course red and white and once we met Hull KR’s commercial team we realised we were at a club with the same forward thinking and progressive attitude as Hirebase. It is an absolute delight and an honour for us to sponsor the best club in Super League and we look forward to a highly successful 2012.

Hull KR Commercial and Marketing Director, Andy Mowbray said that the club were very pleased to attract a company of Hirebase’s standing to become main shirt sponsor.

Whilst many of our fans may not have come into contact with them because of the nature of their business, Hirebase are a professional and respected national company and one that we are proud to have as main club sponsor from 2012.
